Almost every washer call comes down to drainage, balance, or water escaping somewhere it shouldn't.
Book a visitA coin, bobby pin or sock lodged in the pump accounts for most of these. Occasionally the pump motor itself, or a hose kinked behind the machine.
Belt-driven machines stretch and snap their belts. Direct-drive models lose the motor coupling, or the lid switch stops confirming the lid is shut.
It could be the door boot, the inlet fittings, the tub seal, or a cracked outer tub. We follow the water to its origin rather than replacing the obvious candidate.
Drum bearings wear, suspension rods stretch, shock absorbers tire out. Leave it long enough and the tub itself takes damage.
A door lock not engaging, a pressure switch reporting the wrong water level, or a board dropping the cycle without explanation.
The spin never reached full speed. A drain restriction, a tired motor, or an imbalance the machine couldn't resolve on its own.
Rather than reading codes, we drive the machine to the point where it gives up and watch. Seeing the failure prevents a pump being fitted when the actual problem was a pressure switch misreporting.
Front-loaders and top-loaders fail differently, and high-efficiency models add sensors of their own. We work on all of them, and we'll tell you plainly when a bearing replacement costs more than the machine justifies.

Before booking, it's worth checking the pump filter behind the lower panel. A coin or hair clip sitting there causes a large share of drain codes, and clearing it costs you nothing.
